Our broccoli cress plants are delivered as living microgreens, ensuring they arrive optimally fresh and nutritious. Because this involves a raw, living fresh product, additional national guidelines regarding food safety apply to specific target groups:
- Pregnancy, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems: Government agencies (such as the Netherlands Nutrition Centre) advise vulnerable groups to exercise extra care with raw vegetables, fruit, and particularly sprouts/cresses.
- These target groups are advised to wash the broccoli cress very thoroughly with running water before consumption, or to heat it briefly (for example, by briefly blanching the cress, stir-frying it, or stirring it into a hot soup).
- Consumption by pregnant women or vulnerable groups is entirely at their own risk. Rebel Farms cannot be held liable for any physical reactions, infections, or complications arising therefrom.
STORAGE, HYGIENE AND OWN RISK

After delivery of the live plants, the customer is fully responsible for hygienic handling and proper storage conditions (such as temperature, light, and humidity).
